What dB should a dishwasher be?
Under 44 dB is truly quiet (library territory); 45-50 dB is fine behind a closed kitchen. Every dB under 50 costs money — judge whether your kitchen is open-plan before paying for silence.
Front control or top control?
Top controls look cleaner and can't be bumped by kids; front controls show cycle status at a glance and cost less. Functionally identical wash systems exist on both.
How long should a dishwasher last?
